Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Finance and Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a Finance and Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for various financial tasks, including bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording day-to-day transactions, ensuring all entries are correct and well-documented.

Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and provide management with regular financial reports for decision-making.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments to vendors and collection of outstanding invoices from customers.

Tax Compliance: Prepare and file various tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in tax laws that might affect the organization.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic business decisions. Identify trends, advise on potential risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve financial performance.

Audit Support: Assist during internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and explanations. Implement audit recommendations to improve internal controls and processes.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant laws and regulations. Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Integrity and ethical conduct in all financial matters.
